Morning Glory

Another of my wildflower series is this little morning glory painting. The painting is done from a photo taken in New Mexico where colors are always more intense and it is just my desire as a painter to convey those intense colors through the limitations of paint. As with all my still life paintings I enjoy bringing to the viewer front and center objects usually organic that are often overlooked and not really presented for the singular beauty in for example a single morning glory.
