This painting is the cover for the children's book I am writing and illustrating. The Katrina Dogs; Bernie and Beau's Hurricane Adventure is the title. As you may have guessed it is a story about two dogs and their plight after Hurricane Katrina and finding new homes. I am very excited to start illustrating the pages now that I have finished the cover. The painting of the cover was epic, it took many, many hours to complete. I will be posting the interior pages intermittently as I have a few to share. Stay tuned I am hoping to have the book complete in a month or so. A percentage of the proceeds will be donated to animal adoption. Thanks for viewing my blog.
